I love homemade gifts. I especially love homemade gifts that don't look homemade. This flannel blanket is just the thing if you want a gift that is warm and cozy yet won't break the bank. I used the tutorial from It's Always Autumn. It is time consuming, but it's a project that you can do while watching your kids play, a movie, or your husband playing video games.
